Still time to make those year end donations to the AFTD and the CT FTD Foundation.
The CT FTD Foundation has a support group meeting this Sunday, December 22nd at 1:00 at Arden Courts of Farmington in Farmington. If you wish to attend please RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org.
From the CT FTD site:
“Our support group meetings are a chance for everyone to share their experiences and express concerns. It also gives a chance to share ideas that have worked for other caregivers going through the same experience. Meetings are informal. You are welcome to bring your loved one with FTD, Arden Courts will provide respite care in a separate room. Please just let us know in advance if your loved one will attend.”

I came across this on the AFTD site. Just ordered one, not sure who I will give it to, but wanted to support her. Will most likely donate it someplace.
Lisa’s Little Critters on Etsy –Lisa Carver, whose husband Keith is affected with FTD, has opened a store on Etsy, selling crocheted hats. She will donate $1 from each hat sold to AFTD.
From the AFTD site:
“AFTD proudly announces the release of its 2013 Annual Report. AFTD uses $.81 of each $1 donated towards FTD research, caregiver/patient support, education, advocacy and awareness.”
