I will be the featured speaker at the meeting and will also be leading the meeting as Lynn Westfield will be on vacation.
The meeting is at the Norwalk Senior Center, 11 Allen Road, Norwalk, from 10:30am to 11:30am.
Featured speaker: Ed Fitzgerald, support group member and Technology Specialist will speak about ways new technology can be used by caregivers with their loved ones to improve the quality of their lives.
There will also be time for group discussion.
The Caregiver Support Group at Norwalk Senior Center is for caregivers of family members or friends diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s or Dementia. The group offers caregivers an opportunity to share their experiences, help others by sharing their ideas, find out about resources and information that might be helpful.
Meetings are friendly and informal. Occasionally there are themes and guest speakers. The group meets on the second and fourth Thursday of the month, is free and open to all. Membership in the Senior Center is not required.
For more information or if you are interested in participating, please call Ed Fitzgerald at (203) 803-0714 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
