Sharing an email from Katie Brandt, founder of Love Is Out There, an education and awareness campaign about Frontotemporal Degeneration, caregiving, and taking the power back from rare disease. Katie Brandt is an advocate who lost her husband to FTD, and she is not letting FTD have the final word in her family’s story.
“I am very excited to share something special with all of you today, it is the link to a short film that was produced by four students from Boston University’s Hothouse Productions. I feel very lucky to have been matched with students who were so enthusiastic, sensitive and professional. We have been working on the film since January and I am very happy with what the students have created. I will use this film to reach out to media outlets to continue to raise awareness and funds for FTD research and caregiver support.
And, I want to extend an extraordinary thank you to the caregivers who provided testimonials for the film!!!!
