To commemorate the week, the AFTD announced that the print version of today’s New York Times includes a full-page ad to raise FTD awareness in the front section. In the NYC edition, it’s on pg. 15.

Food for Thought Fund Raising Event for FTD in Connecticut

Arden HamdenArden Courts of Hamden is hosting a Food for Thought event Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 5 – 7 PM.

Meghan Roscoe will be at the event to talk about FTD and they will be selling delicious desserts with all proceeds benefiting The AFTD-Team.

This event is part of the First World FTD Awareness Week, October 4-11, 2015.

This event, held October 4-11, 2015, will build on the foundation of productive discussion and collaboration established at the 9th International Conference on Frontotemporal Dementias, held in October 2014 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

World FTD Awareness Week activities and events are being planned by at least 10 countries, including: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, The Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
